Welcome to the website of the Meriden Liberal Democrats.
The Meriden Liberal Democrats are a local Branch of the Solihull and Meriden Liberal Democrats, whose region covers the entire Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council area.
Antony Rogers was our Parliamentary Candidate for the 2017 General Election.
Meriden is the largest geographical parliamentary constituency in the West Midlands metropolitan area and was created in 1955.
The constituency borrows the name from Village and Civil Parish of the same name, which can be found between Solihull and the city of Coventry, approximately 6 miles from Birmingham Airport.
The parliamentary constituency covers the area, known as the Meriden Gap, and contains villages such as Balsall Common, Hampton-in-Arden and Meriden itself, as well as towns and suburbs, ranging from Castle Bromwich and Chelmsley Wood to Knowle and Dorridge.
